As the name and concept originators of Tulip Porcelain, our products are inspired by the tulip vases of the 17th and 18th centuries, a time when tulip bulbs represented such value that only a few could afford them. Accordingly, ceramic industry designers had to create vases that, while using fewer fresh flowers, still gave the impression of a bouquet when placed on the table. During this period, tulip-shaped, or pyramid porcelain vases were developed. Based on this design idea, our unique Tulip Porcelain toothbrush holders were born.
